One thing I’ve learned through this recovery journey is that rest isn’t just about not moving. It’s about letting your body do the deep, quiet work—especially your liver.
So here's the real talk: after surgery, your liver is basically your body’s superhero. It's filtering out the leftovers from anesthesia, the medications, and all that post-surgery clutter. That’s why you might feel a bit sluggish—and it’s completely normal.
Right now, the best gift you can give your body is rest and some gentle liver love. Hydrate well, move a little to get those bowels and bladder going, and just listen to what your body needs.
