My Story: Why I Created Wellness My Way
I created this website because everywhere I looked online, people talked about low iron, perimenopause, or mental health — but never together.
Each topic lived in its own box. Articles were clinical. Advice felt distant. And the people sharing their stories all seemed to be doing fine — driving, working, living full lives.
Meanwhile, I wasn’t.
I wasn’t functioning the way they were. I was struggling in ways I couldn’t explain, and because no one talked about all of these things happening at once, I started to believe something was seriously wrong with me.
That maybe my experience was too much. Too extreme. Too different.
This space exists because I needed to know I wasn’t alone — and I couldn’t find it.
Wellness My Way isn’t about perfection, quick fixes, or pretending everything is okay. It’s about the messy overlap between hormones, iron levels, mental health, trauma, and the reality of trying to find your footing again in midlife.
I’m not a doctor. I don’t have all the answers. What I do have is lived experience, deep empathy, and the willingness to talk about what so many of us are quietly carrying.
